Developing climate resilient livelihood and community resource institutions model by integrated ecosystem management approach

Location: Districts Maharajganj in UP and West Champaran in Bihar

Supported By: Tata Social Welfare Trust, Mumbai

Description:

The project aims at building hands-on community based climate resilient livelihood models with an ecosystem management approach for small and marginal and woman farmers. This is being done through:

  • Improvisation and strengthening the ecosystem helping rural marginalised communities
  • Developing and capacitating community institution
  • Harnessing the learning and replication at local level and in other climate stressed areas
