Brief: GEAG in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Gorakhpur organized a one-day “Kharif Kisan Mela” in Campierganj block of Gorakhpur district. Agricultural experts present at the Mela discussed several techniques of controlling pests, appropriate use of fertilizers, soil testing and integrated farming etc. The farmers were also made aware of various government schemes available for their empowerment.
