Adaptive Livelihoods

GEAG assesses climate-related and other vulnerabilities that affect rural
livelihoods, mentors resilience activities, and contributes towards sustainable livelihoods.

Agriculture is becoming less remunerative in an economic environment that is already volatile and is exacerbated by climate-related risks. To develop bottom-up, climate-adaptive livelihoods, there is an urgent need to understand multi-dimensional, especially resource-based, vulnerability. GEAG guides activities that are climate-resilient in the long run and make livelihoods sustainable.
