GEAG has been using social media to share its experiences. GEAG is engaged in policy, evidence-based, and rights-based advocacy. As part of rights-based advocacy, GEAG campaigns for small, marginal, and women farmers; women farmers’ rights and interests; and climate change resilience.
Small and marginal farmers comprise about 72 per cent of the agrarian workforce of Uttar Pradesh, but they are a neglected lot. GEAG tries to secure land rights for these farmers, especially women farmers, so that they get their due entitlements.
